Baba Nam Kevalam (Bengali language: "বাবা নাম কেবলম্) is a universal ashtaksari kirtan mantra given by Indian spiritual guru and philosopher Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar) . It is used in Ananda Marga during the practice of kirtan across the world. Meaning: "Baba" means "dearest Parama-purusha or God", "Nam" means "name; His name", "Kevalam" means "only". In short, "Baba Nam Kevalam" means "only the name of Parama-purusha". Benefits: "Baba Nam Kevalam" is a Sanskrit mantra. It can be performed individually as well as collectively.
